Miss Aziza Lola is the Legal Service Coordinator at CERTA Foundation. She works on pro bono cases by representing and supporting victims in court. She follows up with the progress of the cases and the development of the victims in and outside the courtroom. In regard to victim support, Aziza has worked as Witness and Victims Support Assistant at the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda. Aziza holds a bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) from the University of Rwanda and she is a member of the Rwanda Bar Association. Aziza has worked as an analyst in charge of Criminal Law Revision in Rwanda Law Reform Commission. She also served as a Technical Assistant in the Justice Component of GIZ (German International Cooperation) Good Governance Programme and a Legal Researcher at the Office of the Prosecutor, International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda. Aziza speaks English, French, Kiswahili and Kinyarwanda.
