Rwanda is increasingly transforming into a continental economic hub with a fast growing economy, access to markets across East Africa, a robust and friendly investment climate all this heralded by the Government lead to but an attractive environment to do business.
Rwanda’s sustained high economic growth in the last two decades and untapped investment opportunities have invited the Center to establish a Lab dedicated to Trade and Investment Lab.
The Lab, through collaboration with the government, academics and civil society in Rwanda, researches and proposes Investment Trade Law reforms and investment best policy practices in areas such as as but not limited to investor-state dispute investment settlement (ISDS), investor obligations and rights, investment treaties Rwanda has committed, and offers investment capacity building and advisory services.
