In Rwanda and elsewhere in the world, Covid has catalysed e-Government initiatives. More so in the legal field. Access to justice demands the presence of unwavering channels for sharing information and swift cooperation between legal authorities.
The Center is therefore determined in training judges, prosecutors, litigation and inhouse lawyers to use the existing and new information and communication technologies in improving access to justice and administration of law.
The aim of E-Justice training is to share technological tools and the know-how for operating such tools in order to reduce the duration of complex manual procedures that exist within courts and litigation processes, save time and court resources, enable proper court handling and processing of documents and other relevant materials and, overall, increase productivity.
This training program is classified in 3 clusters: Judges’ Forum, Prosecutors’ Forum, and Attorneys’ Forum.
