Felix Manzi is the Director of the Center for Law and Innovation at Certa Foundation, and an Adjunct Law Lecturer at the University of Kigali and Université Libre de Kigali. He worked as an Associate Coordinator at the Hansen Leadership Institute at the University of San Diego before joining the Center. He has also worked as Consultant for the Harvard Kennedy School, Ash Centre for Democratic Governance and Innovation, and as the Legal and Compliance Officer at Aldango Gold Refinery Ltd. He was also a Rapporteur for the African Union Commission on International Law in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, among other roles.
He holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in International Law with a specialization in International Investment Law from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University. He was a Wells Mountain Foundation Scholar at the University of Kigali, where he obtained his LLB, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Institute of Legal Practice and Development in Kigali. He has received intensive training in leadership, cultural diplomacy, social entrepreneurship, criminal justice, and social justice from various institutions in various countries including Germany, Tanzania, Kenya, Zambia, the U.S., Rwanda, etc. He speaks English, Swahili, Kinyarwanda, and other dialects used in the East African Community. He was recently admitted into the Rwanda Bar Association.
