Renita GATESI is a fellow at the Center for law and innovation in Rwanda. In the pursuit of her law degree at the university of Rwanda, she has put her research skills to work as a research assistant at a local NGO Benishaka carrying out child risk assessment in parameters of child physical abuse, child neglect ,sexual and emotional abuse. She has put her keen passion to help the community into the education sector as a teacher to educate the future generation. Additionally, she has worked with the mediation and reconciliation training program at the University of Rwanda as their coordinator. She is passionate about human rights and alternative dispute resolution. At the Center for Law and Innovation, Renita involves herself in alternative dispute resolution (mediation, arbitration, and neutral evaluation) related research and activities.
