On May 24th, Hon. Chief Justice Dr. Faustin Ntezilyayo, the head of the judiciary in Rwanda, welcomed students from various universities nationwide who were selected and trained by the Certa Foundation under our "Judicial Clerkship Training Program." This program equips University Law students with basic skills in legal research and writing before they are placed at the Supreme Court for a six-month-long internship.

The meeting focused on supporting students in handling tasks related to law reporting and injustice cases under review. The discussions centered on the students' six-month project, which aims to provide support in these critical areas.

Chief Justice Ntezilyayo emphasized the importance of continuous learning and encouraged the students to approach the legal field with a multidisciplinary perspective. This meeting underscored the judiciary's commitment to empowering the next generation of legal professionals, ensuring they are equipped to handle complex legal issues effectively.

By providing a platform for students to engage with the Chief Justice and other legal experts, the judiciary aims to foster a culture of excellence and professionalism within the legal community.

Chief Justice Ntezilyayo's remarks highlighted the significant role of the judiciary in ensuring justice and upholding the rule of law in Rwanda.
