Our Executive Director at the CERTA Foundation was a judge at Jasiri Demo Day 1, where the Dana cohort presented a new wave of impactful, innovation-driven solutions. This event showcased the dedication, creativity, and strategic vision of East Africa’s entrepreneurial talent, underscoring the incredible potential within the region to address pressing challenges through innovative ventures.

Our Executive Director, Isobel Acquah, joined a distinguished judging panel that included Anemone Basabakwinshi and Dennis Mhangami. Together, they evaluated each venture's value proposition, customer acquisition strategies, regulatory compliance, and market readiness, recognizing the exceptional skill and preparation behind these emerging businesses. The judges also assessed the scalability of solutions, offering feedback on how these ventures could grow within regional and international markets.
