International Women's Day Video
In celebration of International Women’s Day, Certa Firm/Foundation through its Center for Justice and Advocacy rallied its team members to reflect on and interpret this year's theme, "Inspire Inclusion." From Certa Law to Certa Foundation, each member shared their unique insights and issued a call to action in their own distinctive manner.
Throughout the video commemorating IWD, resonant quotes from team members echoed the spirit of the theme:
“If you are a woman or a man who has gotten into certain spaces, please leave the door wide open for other women, for younger women because when they get in those spaces we do amazing work.” -Florida Kabasinga, Executive Director, Certa Foundation.
“To me, this theme is a call for us women of today, the women currently in their careers and professions, to inspire the next generation, to let them know that they really belong in these spaces and that they are just as capable.” - Mutesi Patricia, Certa Law.
“It is of great importance that we include women in decision-making processes, mostly when it comes to emerging subjects where decisions need to be made. This will help us ensure that decisions are fair and equitable and look at all perspectives.” - Matinou Samuel Frank, Center for Law and Innovation.
“To me, this theme means not only do we have to include women ourselves, but we have to empower them, build their capacity, and include them in such a way that shines a positive light on them, defies stereotypes, and inspires others to include them.” - Kagina Laura, Center for Justice and Advocacy.

It’s about recognizing the inherent value and potential of every individual, regardless of gender, and working together to create a more inclusive and equitable world.
