On June 12th, 2024, Certa Foundation's pro bono lawyer in Kirehe District, Mr. Vianney Banguwiha, met with six teen mothers at Komera sector to conduct one-on-one interviews. The purpose of these individual sessions was to gather detailed information about each teen mother's case, allowing Banguwiha to initiate personalized legal complaints in court on their behalf.

During the interviews, the teen mothers shared their unique experiences and the challenges they faced, particularly related to sexual gender-based violence (SGBV). Banguwiha listened attentively to each young woman's story, ensuring that their voices were heard and their rights were prioritized.
