Musanze District: Participation in NCDA Meeting

On May 29, the Certa Foundation had the privilege of participating in a crucial meeting convened by the National Child Development Agency (NCDA) at the Musanze District office. Chaired by the Vice Mayor, the gathering was dedicated to addressing the paramount issue of safeguarding and nurturing the well-being of children in Musanze District.

The Head of NCDA at Musanze District Mr. Emmanuel HABUMUGISH recognized the work done by Certa Foundation towards the protection of children’s rights. He stated that, Certa Foundation was invited as an esteemed organization committed to facilitating access to equality and equitable justice for vulnerable groups, particularly children. “Their mission extends beyond advocacy; they strive to empower and educate justice actors to effectively serve the needs of their youngest citizens”.

During the meeting, participants engaged in constructive dialogues and shared insights on various facets of child protection and care and strategies on how all partners and stakeholders can leverage resources and expertise to support collective efforts toward ensuring that every child has the right to a safe and nurturing environment.
