Musanze Visit: Certa Foundation with German delegation
On September 22nd, 2024, the Center for Justice and Advocacy (CJA) proudly hosted a German business delegation led by our esteemed board member, Andreas Spieß. Through their visit to both our Musanze office and the Economic Empowerment Project, it provided a valuable opportunity for us to showcase our vital work in empowering women, most especially women with disabilities who are victims of sexual and gender-based violence( SGBV), particularly through our pig farm initiative. .
During their visit, our Musanze pro bono lawyer, Geraldine Ntihanabayo, shared insights into the Certa Foundation’s ongoing efforts to support these remarkable vulnerable women. The delegation was moved by powerful testimonials from our beneficiaries, illustrating the transformative impact of CJA’s services on their lives.
The delegation was particularly inspired by our integrated approach that combines justice with economic empowerment. They suggested exploring additional economic empowerment initiatives to further support our mission. By the end of the visit, they committed to collaborating closely with the Center for Justice and Advocacy, reinforcing our efforts to support women and their families effectively.
We are deeply humbled and incredibly grateful for the generosity and support shown by Andreas Spieß and the entire delegation. Their commitment will undoubtedly make a lasting impact on the communities we serve. We look forward to expanding our partnership and continuing to create meaningful change for those in need.
Together, we are building a more just, supportive, and empowered community. believing in our mission and standing with us as we strive to empower victims of SGBV and promote their rights.
