On June 13th, 2024. Certa Foundation’s pro bono lawyer in Rwamagana district Ms. Nyirahabimana Martine had a privilege to attend the quarterly meeting of partners with activities to protect and support children in the Rwamagana district. The purpose of this meeting was to review the achievements in child protection and welfare, and to discuss the role of partners in these efforts. 

The meeting also aimed to exchange ideas for the joint preparation of the Day of the African Child and Early Childhood Development (ECD) Day.

During the meeting, the partners shared updates on their ongoing initiatives to safeguard and support children in the Rwamagana district. This included progress on programs focused on child protection, education, health, and social services. The partners highlighted the importance of collaboration and coordination to ensure a comprehensive approach to child welfare. 

The discussions also centered around the upcoming Day of the African Child and ECD Day celebrations. The partners brainstormed ideas for joint activities and awareness campaigns to promote the rights and well-being of children in the Rwamagana. This included plans for community events, educational workshops, and advocacy efforts. 

The meeting served as a valuable platform for the partners to align their strategies, share best practices, and identify areas for further collaboration. By working together, the partners reaffirmed their commitment to creating a safe and nurturing environment for the children of Rwamagana. 

The partners left the meeting with a renewed sense of purpose and a shared vision for the future, determined to continue their efforts to ensure the well-being and development of the children in Rwamagana.
