Startup Incubator

The Certa Foundation's Center for Law and Innovation has played a critical role in bolstering in empowering tech startups through its Startup Residency Incubator, part of the broader Startup Empowerment Program. Since its launch in June 2023,the program has been instrumental in providing essential pro bono legal services specifically designed to meet the distinct requirements of tech startups, fostering an environment where innovation can thrive unencumbered.

As the inaugural cohort concludes, the Center is eagerly preparing for its next chapter, set to welcome a fresh cohort of 10 startups spanning the Agritech, Edtech, Fintech, and Fashion (Made in Africa) sectors in March for a nine-month engagement. This fusion of legal support and strategic mentorship highlights the Certa Foundation's commitment to nurturing innovation and promoting expansion across the startup landscape.
