Gender Policy Advocacy

The Center for Justice and Advocacy (CJA) proactively engages in strategic legal action aimed at establishing positive precedents for the advancement of women's rights. We influence and effect the implementation of gender-sensitive laws, policies, and procedures and train justice actors.

By employing strategic litigation and impactful advocacy efforts, we endeavour to create a lasting impact on women's rights, driving positive societal transformation.

Our Goals

  • Initiate and trigger quality jurisprudence in specific cases that foster the full enjoyment and protection of women's rights.

  • Advocate for gender-sensitive laws and policies and work with regulators and stakeholders to reform and raise public awareness.

  • Design and host training sessions with strategic partners on SGBV and SRHR to develop capacity of justice actors and decision makers.
