Research & Knowledge Development
We are focused on conducting empirical research through specialized labs that focus on emerging legal issues that have the potential to affect the socio-economic welfare in Rwanda and on the continent of Africa. Research plays a pivotal role in socio-economic development but is often lacking in many African countries. We aim to become a leading, independent Transfomative Legal Research insititute that provides African perspectives on emerging legal issues.

Our Goals
Develop homegrown research that highlights African perspectives and intersecting gender issues.
Proactively engage regulators/stakeholers in the vetting of laws and policies.
Disseminate research on multiple platforms, including Cafe Jurique.
